Thanks to the Sears (one of the top 25 military employers in the nation) and Euro RSCG Worldwide PR Teams, MilitaryAvenue is going to New York to attend the Stand Up for Heroes annual comedy benefit that supports the men and women of our armed services on Wednesday! Specifically, the Bob Woodruff Foundation uses this venue to raise funds from corporations such as Sears, individuals, entertainers and others to support the return of injured service members to their communities! This year the program will be led by Jon Stewart of the “The Daily Show” and includes performances by Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Seinfeld, Tony Bennett, 4Troops and more! Wow! A big shout out and thank you to all of you!
We were asked to attend to provide you a picture of this great program and how it supports our veterans and their families! An exciting event and we will be there to talk to the wounded warriors in attendance, say thank you to the corporate sponsors, and shake the hands of entertainers supporting our family of veterans! We will be interviewing and highlighting the efforts of those attending with blogs and even some video of the event! So watch for our future blogs, Facebook entries and tweets!
