The potato salad for the big pot-luck get together tomorrow is in the works:
New Easter clothes are purchased. My boys will be dashing:
There is something about a holiday that is a bit rejuvenating.
What do you do to prepare for Easter?
Up from the grave He arose;
with a mighty triumph o'er His foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
and He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
with a mighty triumph o'er His foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
and He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

I love your blog. It is full of very useful info! To be honest, this was the first time I was disappointed in one of your posts. Although I do celebrate Easter, I think you neglect a segment of the military by not mentioning that yesterday was also the first day of Passover. I think as a blog for the military community it is appropriate to at least acknowledge the holidays that other religions represented within the active duty community celebrate. That said, please continue the great military posts!
ReplyDeleteYou raise a very valid point! As a Christian I can't forget those that came before us like Moses and remembering how God saved His people during the time of Passover and the many generations to follow. I think of all the blessings I have today and how the Jewish people at the time of the Exodus must have felt. What a tradition the Seder and other pieces of Passover represent. I'm going to store this thought away for a future blog. Thank you!
